Terms of Service
The same deal as our privacy policy: written to be read, not to be survived. Every section has a plain-language summary beside the formal text.
01Acceptance
Using TrackFin means you agree to these terms. If you don't, don't use it.
By creating an account or using TrackFin, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you are using TrackFin on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.
02Your account
Keep your login safe, give us a real email, and you must be old enough to enter a contract.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide an accurate email address and to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. You must be of the age of majority in your jurisdiction to use TrackFin.
03Beta status & pricing
It's a beta, so things may change or break. It's free now. When paid plans arrive, beta users keep a permanent discount.
TrackFin is currently offered as a free public beta. Features may change, and the service may occasionally be unavailable as we improve it. We provide the beta without charge and do not require payment information to begin.
When paid plans are introduced, we will give notice in advance. Users who joined during the beta will receive a permanent early-adopter discount as described at the time of signup. We will never introduce a pricing model that requires selling or sharing your transaction data.
04Acceptable use
Don't break the law with it, don't attack the service, and only add data you're allowed to add.
You agree not to use TrackFin for any unlawful purpose, not to attempt to disrupt or compromise the service or its infrastructure, and not to upload data you do not have the right to use. We share the AI service source on request, and you are welcome to inspect, self-host, and build on it in accordance with its license.
05Your data & ownership
Your data is yours. We only use it to provide the product to you, and you can take it with you anytime.
You retain all rights to the financial data you add to TrackFin. You grant us only the limited permission necessary to process and display that data to you as part of providing the service. We claim no ownership of your data and will never use it for any purpose beyond delivering TrackFin to you. You may export your data at any time, and may request deletion of your account and its data whenever you choose.

TrackFin gives you insights, not financial advice. Double-check anything important before acting on it.
TrackFin is provided "as is" during beta. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
The AI-powered features (insights, anomaly detection, subscription detection, and budget suggestions) are informational tools only. They do not constitute financial, tax, or investment advice. You are responsible for your own financial decisions, and you should consult a qualified financial professional before making significant ones.
07Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect damages from using a free beta product.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TrackFin and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding twelve months, which, during the free beta, is zero.
08Termination
You can leave anytime and take your data. We can close accounts that abuse the service.
You may stop using TrackFin at any time, and may ask us to close your account whenever you choose. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that threaten the security or integrity of the service. On termination you may export your data first, after which it is permanently deleted.
09Changes to these terms
If we change something material, we'll tell you at least 14 days before it takes effect.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect, and we will keep prior versions available for comparison. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
